The North Sydney Bears had a great 1991 season that ultimately ended in heartbreak when they were eliminated with losses to Penrith in the semi-finals and Canberra in the preliminary final.
Despite this, the Bears remain a fan favourite team in the NSW Cup, despite not featuring in the NRL since 1999.
